Analytics Dashboard Overview
The Analytics page is your command center for understanding channel performance. Access it by clicking "Analytics" on any channel card from your dashboard.
Analytics Tabs
The analytics dashboard is organized into three main tabs:
- Channel Overview: Key metrics, growth charts, and health scores
- Videos: Video performance analysis, publishing insights, and recommendations
- YouTube Live: Live streaming performance and comparison to VOD content
Subscriber Growth Tracking
Track how your subscriber count changes over time with detailed growth analytics.
Growth Chart
The subscriber growth chart shows your channel's subscriber trajectory over time. You can view data for different periods: 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days.
- Blue line shows absolute subscriber count
- Hover over points to see exact values
- Percentage change is calculated from the start of the selected period
Growth Metrics
Key growth indicators displayed:
- Total Subscribers: Current subscriber count
- Period Change: Subscribers gained/lost in selected period
- Growth Rate: Percentage change over time
Channel Health Score
The Channel Health Score is a proprietary metric that evaluates your channel's overall performance on a scale of 0-100.
How It's Calculated
The health score considers four key factors:
Score Ranges
- 80-100 (Excellent): Channel is thriving with strong metrics across all areas
- 60-79 (Good): Channel is performing well with room for improvement
- 40-59 (Fair): Channel has potential but needs attention in some areas
- 0-39 (Needs Work): Channel requires significant improvements
Engagement Metrics
Engagement measures how your audience interacts with your content beyond just watching.
Engagement Rate
Calculated as: (Likes + Comments) / Views × 100
A higher engagement rate indicates more active audience participation. Industry benchmarks suggest:
- Like Rate: 2-4% is considered healthy
- Comment Rate: 0.05-0.1% is typical for most channels
Engagement Trends Chart
The engagement trends chart shows how your engagement metrics change over time, helping you identify:
- Which videos drive the most engagement
- Seasonal patterns in audience activity
- Impact of content changes on engagement
Channel Rankings
See how your channel compares to others tracked on SocialDataCharts.
SDC Channel Rank
Your channel's rank among all channels tracked on our platform:
- Global Rank: Position among all tracked channels worldwide
- Country Rank: Position among channels from your country
- Percentile: What percentage of channels you outperform
Upload Frequency Analysis
Understanding your upload patterns helps optimize your content strategy.
Metrics Tracked
- Videos per Week: Average number of uploads per week
- Upload Calendar: Visual representation of your posting schedule
- Optimal Days: Days that historically perform best for your channel
Data Availability
The "Days of Data" indicator shows how much historical data is available for a channel.
- New channels start with limited data
- Data accumulates daily based on your collection schedule
- More data enables more accurate trend analysis
Layout Customization
The analytics dashboard supports layout customization for Pro and Enterprise users:
- Drag and Drop: Rearrange cards to prioritize what matters to you
- Resize Mode: Adjust card sizes to see more detail
- Lock Layout: Prevent accidental changes to your arrangement
- Reset: Return to the default layout at any time
